KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer telephone calls in a prompt and respond to inquiries with professionalism
Greet as soon as patrons walk-in with a welcoming manner
Seat patrons in waiting areas when lounge is in busy, then provide them with menus
Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that receiving an appropriate number of seatings
Receive and delivery orders to patrons
Have a general knowledge of our food and drink menu and be able to recommend upon request in order to upsell products
Responsible for exceeding the customer expectations by providing them with friendly, prompt and attentive service that is tailored to the customer’s preference
Team player and assist throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, assisting with guests and ensuring that every opportunity to WOW a customer is completed
Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages
Perform station opening/closing duties on each shift, including set up/break down and continual maintenance of front entrance area
Maintain continuous restroom checks
Notify the manager of any quotes such as special guest needs or requests, large party execution needs and guest complaints, no matter how small it may seem
Ensure compliance with all Company policies and laws, including health and safety standards
Committed to safe food & beverage handling, cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards during the shift
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age
Minimum of a year experience in a high-volume restaurant/ bar
Previous experience using a computerized POS system
Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift
Ability to lift stock up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
Knowledge of extensive food and beverage options
Enthusiasm in alcohol and non-alcohol drinks mixing
Attention to detail
Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
